In order to expedite the process, we ask that you please consult the following checklist before requesting passport services:

1. At this time, passport services are available on a limited basis and by appointment only. It is suggested that you contact us well in advance of  needing your passport processed, at 304-647-7568.

2. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you must reschedule for a later date.

3. Please completely fill out your passport form before arriving at the library. For a copy of this form, and for information about the required documentation you will need to bring with you, please use this link to the U.S. Department of State.

4. Please bring a passport photo of the proper size and style.

5. Please bring the proper identification with you.

6. Please note that only certain forms of payment are accepted: personal checks, money orders, and cashier's checks. To determine the fee go to travel.state.gov.

7. The U.S. Government has cautioned that, in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, it may take several months to receive passports.
